Ivan Zizek

Ivan was born and raised in Germany. He has been in the US for more than 20 years now, and discovered his love for technology while working in Aerospace Logistics in Vancouver, BC. Ivan has a BA from Western Oregon University, an MFA and an MPhil from the University of Exeter in the UK, as well as an MAT in Education from the Trinity Washington University.

Ivan is the Instructor & Curriculum Development manager for the National Digital Equity Center as well as a Digital Skills Instructor and a Tutor. He started his career at the NDEC in March of 2021 as a part time tutor and instructor, and is now full time staff.

Ivan has made his home in Maine in 2008, and resides at the mid-coast with the love of his life and his dog. Besides being interested in technology, Ivan is an avid kite-boarder, and a personal trainer. If the time allows he can be found sailing on his catamaran at a nearby lake. He is a classically trained actor, and can at times be found performing at small theatres around the mid-coast.
