We are committed to creating Digital Opportunity Ecosystems – a combination of programs and policies that meet regions’ unique and diverse needs. We are dedicated to empowering organizations and individuals with digital opportunity resources, and building strong ecosystems that address all aspects of the digital divide, creating long-term sustainable models.




We are proponents of Digital Equity, a condition in which all individuals and communities have the information technology capacity needed for full participation in our society, democracy and economy. Digital equity is necessary for civic and cultural participation, employment, lifelong learning, and access to essential services.
The National Digital Equity Center advocates for Digital Inclusion and Digital Opportunities – which include Affordable Broadband, Affordable Devices, Digital Skills Training, and Public Computer Access. The National Digital Equity Center is focused on creating digitally skilled citizens, and providing communities with the expertise to mobilize broadband technologies through digital inclusion and opportunity efforts.
